Céleste Noir History:
Nach der Produktion von Analogsympathisants „Bewegexemplar“ und den Remixen, die Sonic Replication von „Heart of midnight“ angefertigt hatet, beauftragten Carsten Grünewald und Markus Korbas – die übriggebliebenen Gründungsmitglieder von Céleste Noir – John T. Jefferson damit, ihre nächste CD zu produzieren. Während der Produktion stieg John T. aber als Vollmitglied ein, da für Liveauftritte ein Keyboarder gebraucht wurde.
Nach der „Evolution“, die quasi eine Best-of ist, sollte schon die Produktion des nächsten regulären Albums beginnen, doch starke Veränderungen im Leben von John T. verzögerten dies. So gab es „nur“ die Maxi „… 6 ways to go“ mit dem neuen Song „7 ways“ und weiteren Remixen. Erst 2020 kam endlich der erste Teil der „7 ways“-Trilogie als reine Online-Veröffentlichung heraus. Danach wurde ein lang gehegter Wunsch nach einer Remix-EP erfüllt, da viele Bands Céleste Noir fragten, ob sie „The maniac“ remixen dürften.
